Folio 558: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Stating that Daniel Carmichael was impressed by the gang at Liverpool 12 December and D Sharps says he is the mate of the Fame.
Folios 559- 560: enclosure with folio 558. Letter dated 17 December 1804 by Daniel Sharp, Master of the Fame Rothsay, Liverpool. Requesting the release of his chief mate Daniel Carmichael who was impressed 12 December from the Fame of Rothsay. He enetered into a bond with a penalty of 3200 as pretection from impressing and requests his release.
