Folio 533: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Stating that Thomas Irwin was brought up in the Flars of this river and his father is chiefly dependent upon him for support.
Folios 534-535: enclosure with folio 533. Letter dated 3 December 1804 by Thomas Barnes, 10 Grayson Street, Liverpool. Mr G Irwin of Down Holland is chiefly dependent on his son Thomas Irwin who was impressed at Liverpoolk and entered as volunteer landsman and is now on board HMS Princess. Requesting that he be discharged on condition of finding an able bodied to serve in his stead.
