Folio 524: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Replying to letter of 26 November, enclosing application, indenture etc from John Connell regarding the discharge of Edward Cely, impressed at Parkgate.
Folios 525-526: enclosure with folio 524. Petition from John Connell, master of the Duke of York sailing between Dublin and Parkgate, Cheshire. Edward Cely was impressed on 21 November and the petition asking for his discharge as the necessary papers has been presented at Chester on 24 November.
Folio 527: enclosure with folio 524. Letter dated 26 November 1804 by Henry Howison, states that John Connell, master of the Duke of York packet of Parkgate made oath on the Holy Evangelists that Edward Cely is entirely innocent and should be discharged.
