Folios 93-94: Thomas Cochrane, HMS Arab near Horsley Bar. Is enclosing a letter to Lord Keith informing him that there is a privateer cruising off the mouth of the Forth.
Folios 95-96: enclosure with folios 93-94. Letter dated 18 October 1804 byThomas Cochrane, HMS Arab at sea, to Lord Keith. Coming back from The Stadt where the Arab has been protecting trading to Archangel, he fell in with a large lugger privateer close to the Isle of May and he gives an extract giving reasons why the privateer was not taken.
