Folios 37-38: Charles Cobb, Yarmouth. Complaining about a letter from William Henry Brown Tremlett requesting sanction to his paying his men without Cobb's concurrence and his general behaviour reported by Lord Hawksbury. He encloses a copy of his letter to Captain Tremlett and his reply
Folios 39-41: enclosure with folios 37-38. Letter dated 20 November 1804 by Charles Cobb, Yarmouth. Copy of letter to Captain William Henry Brown Tremlett 20 November 1804. Concerning the payment to Lieutenant Thomas Mills Holmes, the appointment of Lieutenant Nugent to the Cromer Sea Fensibles without his approval, the sending out of 7 cutters in pursuit of a privateer and querying the demand for [£5000.70?].
Folios 41-42: enclosure with folios 37-38. Denying that he ordered the 7 cutters out and defending the need to have money at hand to pay Lieutenant Holmes. Captain Riboleau always keeps £30 in hand.
