Folios 229-230: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields, Response to a request to state the case of William Wigham, who was impressed and whose discharge has been applied for by Robert G Williams.
Folio 231-232: enclosure with folios 229-230. Letter dated 3 July 1802 by Robert G Williams, London, Request for discharge of William Wigham who was impressed at Newscastle on account of his Protection Certificate stating him to be born in November 1786 and baptised in January 1786. He was in fact baptised in January 1787. Asks that he is released and another Protection is issued as he is under the age protected by law.
