Folios 209-210: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Response to a request to state the case of Isaac Main, who was impressed at Sunderland on 31 May 1804. He was impressed into service as a fisherman at the same time as binding himself as an apprentice, which renders the Indenture illegal.
Folio 211: enclosure with folios 209-210. Covering letter (not dated) from Mr Brodie, 29 Suffolk Street, Charing Cross. Encloses a letter and Indenture to procure the discharge of Isaac Main.
Folio 212-213: enclosure with folios 209-210. Covering letter (not dated) from Mr Brodie, 29 Suffolk Street, Charing Cross. Advises that he will leave town on Tuesday and asks that any information on Isaac Main, an impressed man from Nairn be sent to him at Forres.
Folios 214-215: enclosure with folios 209-210. Letter dated 16 June 1804 by Robert Dempster, Nairn. Encloses an indenture [item not included] for the appointment of Isaac Main, fisherman, for three years. Requests his discharge as his family need him and he understood that a man could not be impressed whilst apprenticed.
