Folios 202-203: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Response to a request to state the case of Henry Spicer or Heinrick Spiez, who was impressed at South Shields on 5 June 1804 and whose discharge has been applied for by Mr Friday. Confirms he has received an application for his discharge on the grounds he is a Prussian citizen but states he requires a statement from the Vice-Consul showing why he has a Certificate of Protection.
