Folios 187-188: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Reports the discharge of John Oliver, Keelman and Pilot employed by Messrs John Goodchild and son, who had been impressed. His employers have provided a substitute sailmaker to initiate this discharge.
Folios 189-190: enclosure with folios 187-188. Letter dated 30 May 1804 by John Godchild and Son, Pallion Lime Works, South Sunderland. Request to release John Oliver, pilot, who was impressed by William Charleton and offering a man to replace him.
