Folios 178-179: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Response to a request to state the case of Frederick Paul, who was impressed 20 May 1804 and whose discharge has been applied for by Mr Friday, Prussian Consul. He was detained as he has served in the British Navy in the last war and on HMS Abergavenny.
