Folios 163-164: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Response to a request to state the case of John Nyman, who was impressed at South Shields on 5 May 1804. His discharge has been applied for by Claes Grill from the Swedish Consul. When impressed he had a protection certificate but his explanation and his description bought this into question. He has therefore not discharged him and proposes sending him to the Nore in HMS Lyra.
