Folios 139-140: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Acknowledges letter from John Nodin requesting the discharge of a man he knows as James Kendall, who was impressed on 25 April 1804 at Sunderland. He was detained as he had not signed the Articles of Agreement.
Folios 141-142: enclosure with folios 139-140. Letter dated 11 May 1804 by John Nodin, Agent for the owners of the brig Corporation of Rye, London. States James Randell, a Mate on the brig called the Corporation, was impressed on a voyage from Rye northwards and is now on HMS Zealand. Request for him to be discharged.
