Folios 131-132: William Charleton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Encloses a Protection Certificate for William Crawford. As the description does not fit the man who possessed it, he has detained him awaiting further advice.
Folio 133: enclosure with folios 131-132. Protection Certificate for William Crawford, apprenticed to Edward Harper of South Shields, dated 16 July 1803, with a description of his features down the left hand side.
