Folios 527-528: Letter dated 28 September 1803 by Charles Hope. A return of ships in commission and in dock at Chatham.
Folios 529-530: Letter dated 28 September 1803 by Isaac Coffin, Sheerness Yard. Reports the arrival of HMS Virginie to the Little Nore, the sailing of HMS Circe, HMS Diana, HMS Sophie and HMS Harpy, and the arrival of the Hawk hired armed cutter.

Asks him to report on Cotton Brown, George Thomas and Patrick Leonard, who are reported to be Americans now serving in HMS Phaeton, and to transmit any documents they may have produced to show their nationality.
