Engagement agreements (251-500).
Forms [employment contacts] for staff aged 21 years and over and employed by the Locomotive Department. Gives details of the employee name, first place of work and work number. In addition details of the witness name, position and place of work are also given. Staff and witnesses were required to sign two copies of the same contract. The company retained one copy and the other was presumably issued to the employee referred to in the Form.
The Covering Dates for the piece refer to the first date of appointment and to the last date of appointment for the range of individuals in the Register.
