Staff Register No 3.
The Register gives details of employee name, position, previous positions/school attended (if any), details of who recommended the employee, age employee began service, salary height, date appointed and remarks on employee promotion to other positions, resignation, dismissal, wage deductions/fines, and work suspensions.
The Covering Dates for the piece refer to the first date of appointment and to the last date of appointment for the range of individuals in the Register.
Contents described at item level (Name; Occupation; Age; Date of Appointment). The Covering Date(s) shown at item level are the Date of Appointment for the individual.
Generally, arranged chronologically by the date employee entered into service with the North London Railway Company. However, some records dated from 15 April 1886 - 26 April 1888 were later additions, inserted into blank spaces of previous records (these records can usually be identified by the red pen lines ruled across the page).
