Staff Register for salaried and waged staff (coaching, police, traffic and telegraph operating departments) including booking clerks, ticket collectors, station inspectors, porters, signalmen, guards, brakesmen, couplers, shunters, messengers, foremen, policemen, point cleaners, lampmen, train boys and female cleaners, etc.
The registers give details of name, date of birth, date of joining service, position, where stationed, changes to pay and remarks including information on departure from service. Occasionally details are given on additional staff expenses and wage changes.
