Folios 431-433: Encashment of German East Africa notes: transmits copy of a note to the Swiss Minister stating that the British government is unable to permit German East Africa notes to be utilised as security for advances to German prisoners of war in India however there is no objection in cases of Germans interned in Egypt and Malta.
