'A water-colour drawing representing a footman standing on the steps outside the hall door, and two street arabs in the street below. One of the boys is imitating the footman, to the great delight of the other boy, & also of the housemaid who is looking through the open door behind the footman. The picture is entitled "Dignity & Imprudence". (Photograph attached)'.
