Folios 185-186. A letter from Sir [Stanier] Porten to [Treasury secretary] John Robinson concerning the replacement of books and ornaments destroyed [during the Gordon Riots] in the [Roman Catholic] chapel of the minister from the Court of Sardinia, Marquis de Cordon. The new items are presently lodged in the customs, and Robinson is desired to ask the commissioners to release them.
