Description

Folios 135-141. A letter from J [John] Robinson, dated at Downing Street [Whitehall, Middlesex], concerning a convoy to [relieve the Siege of] Gibraltar and Minorca, marked 'most private'. Itemises a 'two year list of provisions'. Also notes that Lord North's health is better. Folio 138-139. A separate list of provisions. Folio 140. A letter from [Lieutenant General] Ja [James] Murray, dated at Minorca. Enclosing: Folio 141. Return of provisions in St Philip's Castle, Minorca, signed by the Quartermaster General Samuel Knollis, and ?commissary deputy of provisions, Joseph Collins.
