Description

Folios 106-110. A letter from John Robinson to Sir Stanier Porten, dated at Treasury Chambers, concerning cannon loaded at Dover [Kent] suspected of being intended for the enemy. Folio 107. Robinson to Customs commissioners, advising that the 'Thomas and Mary' is intending to load one-hundred cannon. Folio 108. Robinson to Porten, dated at Treasury Chambers. Enclosing: Folio 109-110. Edward Stanley to Robinson, dated at Customs House, London. An order of council would be needed to load.
