A letter from John Robinson to Anthony Chamier, dated at Treasury Chambers, concerning the legality of trading with Portuguese subjects who use vessels captured by British cruisers [from enemy powers] and sold to them. Enclosing: Folio 59. Copy of Edward Stanley to John Robinson, dated at Customs House, London, on 26 May 1780. Portuguese traders cannot lawfully use such vessels.
