Description

Folios 51-52. A letter from John Robinson to Sir Stanier Porten, dated at Treasury Chambers, concerning the seizure of the Portuguese vessel 'Rainha dos Anjos', Emanuel Francisco Porfecto, master, for breaches of the laws governing wool exports. Enclosing: Folio 52. Report by customs commissioners, investigating the memorial of the Portuguese envoy the Chevalier de Pinto [Luis Pinto de Silva Coutinho].
