Folios 348-350: George Burgoyne, HMS Port Mahon, Belfast. John Clarke deserted at Carrickfergus. The Head of the Customs said that Clarke went fishing with his father but could not be apprehended because he had a mob of disaffected people to help him. Burgoyne sent a boat to press the lot of them but stones were thrown and press gang retreated but managed to press John Robinson.
