A letter from S P [Stanier Porten] to John Robinson [Treasury Secretary] concerning the capture, [by the 'Union', commanded by Captain Randall] of the Bordeaux [France] packet boat, which has been brought into Falmouth [Cornwall]. He has tried to consult the Attorney General about authority to open a bundle of letters found aboard, but he is at Mr Rigby's. Mentions a letter enclosed from Messrs Mathews and Barton.
