Folios 141-144. A letter from Sir Stanier Porten to John Robinson, dated at St James's, concerning the seizure of a ship ['La Bonne Intention' near Boulogne] with enclosures [not filed here] for the Treasury Commissioners. The owners of the vessel are Messrs Stival of Dunkirk. Folio 143-144. Copy of a letter from [French ambassador] the Marquis de Noailles to Viscount Weymouth, dated at London, requesting that he settle the matter, which is subject to a process in the Court of the Exchequer. The owners of the vessel are French, and it was seized by customs officer from Dover [Kent].
