Folio 139. A letter from John Robinson to Wm [William] Eden, dated at Treasury Chambers [Whitehall, Middlesex] concerning convicts. The Treasury Commissioners have agreed terms with Duncan Campbell to provide a ship [prison hulk] to accommodate 120 convicts, at 9d per head per day. Also mentions Lord Suffolk's proposal for hard labour [dredging, and raising sand] on the River Thames.
