Folios 205-206. Letter dated at Treasury Chambers from John Robinson to [?Sir Stanier Porten or Anthony Chamier]: 'I wrote to you some ago today, which I fear has been delayed until you may have left the office, and therefore I write this letter to apprize you of it, and to say that the business is in haste which was the subject of the letter and that it is necessary you see it as soon possible. Allow me also my dear Sir to take the same opportunity to commit the enclosed papers from Mr Dundas to your case, and to entreat that you will at a convenient opportunity lay them before Lord Weymouth and solicit the favour of a letter from him - Tom Dundas is a very worthy fellow and a good friend of Government and Town Irish he'd be obliged as it would enable them to complete the North Riding Corps immediately - I therefore hope it may be agreeable to Lord Weymouth to write such a letter'.
