Letter dated at St James's from [the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty] to John Robinson that the Treasury Lords consider whether proper measures should not immediately be taken to prevent the export of 20,000 sheets of copper intended for the use of the French Navy 'as it appears of the utmost consequence to defeat the means of sheathing the enemy's Fleet with copper'. The copy paper said to be enclosed is not filed here.
