Folios 128-129. Folio 128. Letter dated at Treasury Chambers from John Robinson to Sir Stanier Porten that Sir George Wombwell has been instructed to maintain a sufficient supply of provisions to Gibraltar to cover both daily consumption and twelve months store of complete rations. Enclosed for Lord Weymouth's information is:- Folio 129. Return of provisions in store at Gibraltar 27 March 1779 to serve 6,000 persons. The Return lists the names of 18 vessels and their masters and the amount of supplies actually in store at Gibraltar on 17 July 1779.
