Letter dated at St James's from [Lord Weymouth] to the Lords of the Treasury clarifying the meaning of his letter of 30 March 1778 about the relief he considered the clerks of his office justly entitled to on and asking their Lordships to reconsider the situation of the clerks in the Northern and Southern Departments whose payment has been suspended since 29 September 1778 'to the great inconvenience of the gentlemen in these offices'.
