Folios 163-164. Letter dated at St James's from Sir Stanier Porten to John Robinson regarding the supplies for the garrison at Gibraltar. Lord Weymouth thinks it highly necessary that the supply ships for Gibraltar being very small and defenceless they should proceed with convoy and that the Admiralty should have notice 'for should those provisions not arrive safe at Gibraltar, the garrison there must be reduced to the greatest distress'.
