Folio 175. Letter dated at Southwark from Wm [William] Chamberlayne to [Anthony Chamier] that the Attorney-General is of the opinion that a Special Commission for the trials of the Bath rioters is unnecessary as they can be easily removed from Bath to Wells at the time of the Assizes and if any of them are convicted they may be brought back to Bath to be executed.
