Folio 170. Note dated at Treasury Chambers from Mr [George] Ramus to Sir Stanier Porten enclosing the case of Thomas Hancock one of the convicts the Recorder is to report on to the King. Ramus is informed that a petition has already been presented to Lord Hillsborough and asks that the enclosed case be given to him. For enclosure see folios 173-174 below.
