Folios 90-92. Folio 90. Letter dated at Gloucester from Wm [William] Lane, the Mayor, to [?Lord Hillsborough] that 'the Corporation and citizens observing with the deepest concern the great rapine plunder and shocking enormities committed in the Metropolis by a most formidable and riotous mob, and being justly alarmed at such atrocious offences, have, in order to preserve the peace of this city and neighbourhood' entered into an Association for that purpose. Enclosed with the letter is:- Folios 91-92. Copy of the various resolutions passed at the general meeting of the citizens and inhabitants of Gloucester.
