Folios 69-70. Folio 69. Note dated at Whitehall from Lord Amherst to Lord Hillsborough enclosing a note from Ottendorff 'who is collecting other matters of the same kind'. Folio 70. Ottendorff's note about a man named Ranzonet a native of Liège lodging at 6 Robert Street. Ottendorff says Ranzonet served in Prussia and France and knows for sure that Ranzonet is attached to the house of Noailles under the protection of the minister. Razonet knows London very well having previously lived here for some years. He was surprised to see Ottendorff and when the latter asked him what he was doing here Ranzonet said he was looking for employment. Ottendorff thinks he is not mistaken in being suspicious of Razonet who said he is happy to write to Lord George Germain about employment.
