Folios 59-61. Folio 59. Note from Lord North at Downing Street to Lord Hillsborough enclosing a letter about which he suggests that if the offer made is not accepted some answer should be given to the person from whom it comes. Folios 60-61. Letter dated at Whitechapel from Richard Farmer, Prothonotary, to Lord North offering the use of the Whitechapel Court jail as a prison under the sole Government direction and management of such persons as the King is pleased to appoint.
