Folios 55-56. Letter from 'A native of Gray Abby [Grey Abbey] County Down and citizen and housekeeper Ludgate Hill' to Lord Hillsborough informing him 'that there are sixty guns with bayonets lodged in the Belle Savage Inn Ludgate Hill, for the use of those who call themselves to be left till called for and he is told come from Exeter.' The writer assures Hillsborough that the landlord of the Belle Savage 'is a very loyal and worthy character, and expressed the most sensible uneasiness [at] the arms being in his inn'.
