Description

Folio 223-224: William Bligh, Sydney, New South Wales. HMS Lady Nelson, previously employed as tender to HMS Buffalo pursuant to an order from Governor [Phillip Gidley] King of 4th March 1802, has been turned over to HMS Porpoise.

Folios 224-225: Enclosure in folios 223-224: S. Trowbridge, James Adams and J. Markham, Commissioners for executing the Office of the Lord High Admiral of Great Britain and Ireland, 4th March 1802 to Captain Phillip Gidley King, HMS Buffalo, New South Wales. Orders to bear the crew of HMS Lady Nelson, employed in surveying, on the books of the ship.

Folio 226: Enclosure in folios 223-224: Phillip Gidley King, Governor, New South Wales, 3rd September 1805. Asks for an order to discharge the supernumeraries, from HMS Lady Nelson, held on the books of HMS Buffalo into HMS Porpoise.

Folio 227: Enclosure in folios 223-224: William Bligh, Governor-in-Chief, New South Wales and Captain of HMS Porpoise, 4th September 1806 to Phillip Gidley King, Commander of HMS Buffalo. Order to discharge the supernumeraries, from HMS Lady Nelson, held on the books of HMS Buffalo into HMS Porpoise.

Folios 228-229: Enclosure in folios 223-224: William Bligh, Governor-in-Chief, New South Wales and Captain of HMS Porpoise, 4th September 1806 to Captain Joseph Short, HMS Porpoise, Sydney Cove. Orders to receive. From HMS Buffalo, HMS Lady Nelson as a tender.
