Description (What the record is about)

Folios 201-202: William Bligh, HMS Porpoise, Sydney Cove, New South Wales. Arrived on the 6th August 1806 and found HMS Buffalo fitting out to receive Governor [Phillip Gidley] King. The stores sent out in HMS Porpoise have suffered greatly for want of being properly stowed. Captain Joseph Short claims he had no charge of them but did carry out a survey on them.
Folio 202: Enclosure in folios 201-202: Officers from HMS Buffalo and Lady Sinclair, HMS Porpoise, Sydney Cove, Port Jackson, 19th August 1806. Survey on the stores carried on HMS Porpoise.

Folio 204: Enclosure in folios 201-202: Duplicate of folio 202.
