Folios 131-134. Intelligence from Mr [John] Robinson, received 27 December 1775, concerning a brigantine in the Bay of Swansea [Glamorgan], reportedly purchased by Mr Digges of Maryland, and conveying intelligence to America, and suspected of carrying military stores. Provides a description of the vessel. The captain says he is bound for St John's [Newfoundland] in the Gulf of St Lawrence. Folio 132. Robinson to Wm [William] Eden, dated at Treasury Chambers [Whitehall, Middlesex] with intelligence to lay before Lord Suffolk. Enclosing: Folio 133-134. Robinson to the Collector of Bristol [Gloucestershire].
