Enclosing: Folio 129. A letter from Wm [William] How [Howe], in the absence of the secretary, to John Robinson, dated at Customs House, London, on 7 November 1775. Enclosing: Folio 130. A letter from Thomas Dormer, dated at Guernsey on 1 November 1775. Intelligence from a person lately arrived from Port l'Orient [Lorient, France], concerning a schooner from Philadelphia and a brigantine from New England, the later sailing for Dunkirk.
