Folios 66-71. A letter from Mr Burton to Mr [John] Robinson, dated at Clifford Street concerning house-breakers [who murdered a servant in Mrs Hutchins house in the King's Road, Chelsea]. It will not be possible to circulate advertisements this evening, but may be by Saturday. Folio 68. A letter from J Robinson, endorsed 7 November 1771. Mr Burton will send a person to the recipient's office. Folio 69-70. A letter sent by direction of the Earl of Suffolk to Robinson, dated at St James's. Several in the gang have been impeached, and descriptions of the other circulated, mentioning the role of Sir John Fielding. Folio 71. A letter sent by direction of the Earl of Suffolk to Robinson, dated at St James's. The King wants the advertisement circulated tonight, as it 'is the general post night for the whole kingdom'. The Lords of the Treasury should enforce the command with the Board of Excise.
