A letter form Thomas Bradshaw to Richard Sutton, dated at Treasury Chambers [Whitehall, Middlesex], concerning the seizure in the Shetland islands of the Royal Danish Company vessel 'St Johannes', Lydl Harboe, master; and the complaint of the Danish minister Baron Diede. The vessel was seized by Captain William Williams, late commander of HMS 'Peggy'. Enclosing: Folio 61. Copy of a report of Scottish Customs Commissioners, dated at Customs House, Edinburgh, concerning the vessel's illicit trade between Hamburg and Shetland, including tea smuggling.
