A letter form Thomas Bradshaw to Richard Sutton, dated at Treasury Chambers [Whitehall, Middlesex], concerning the seizure in Shetland islands of the Royal Danish Company ship 'St Johannes', Lydl [Luds] Harboe, master; and the complaint of the Danish minister Baron Diede. The vessel was seized by Captain William Williams, late commander of HMS 'Peggy'. Folio 57-58. Copy of Williams, dated at London, explaining that he seized the vessel on suspicion of involvement in smuggling brandy.
