Description

Folios 25-33. A letter from H S [Henry Seymour] Conway to the Lords of the Treasury, dated at St James's [Middlesex], concerning the destruction of British forts built by the English in the Bay of Honduras, upon order of the governor of Jamaica. Enclosing: Folio 27-28. Memorial of Captain Robert Hodgson, outlining his actions between 7 September 1763 and 2 December 1764. Folio 29-30. Hodgson to William Burke, dated at Argyle [Argyll] Buildings, King Street [?London] on 20 December 1765. Folio 31. An account of £472 6s 5d. Folio 32. Grey Cooper to Burke, dated at Treasury Chambers [Whitehall, Middlesex] on 7 March 1766, requesting Conway to the Treasury Lords. Folio 33. Cooper to Burke, dated at Treasury Chambers on 12 March 1766.
