Letter dated at Kenwood from Captain Rob [Robert] Meadhead, Northumberland Militia to [?Lord Stormont] that his postscript was not intended to suggest that the withdrawing of the Horse was in any apprehension on his part that what party is there was inadequate but only that their being posted properly might deter the mob from approaching the house and thereby prevent bloodshed.
