Captured ship: Prophet Daniel of Copenhagen (master John or Johan Jacobsen Roerhafn or Korshagen).
History: a Danish merchant ship bound from St Malo to Copenhagen, laden with salt; taken on 17/27 November 1691 off the Isle of Wight by the privateers Elizabeth and Catherine (William Young commanding) and Postillon (Henry Martin commanding), and brought into Cowes.
