Captured ship: St Philippe or St Philip of Boulogne (master Adrian Rivett).
History: a French fishing vessel (9 men and a boy) bound from Boulogne on a fishing voyage; taken on 6/17 July 1694 off Boulogne by HMS Defiance (James Stewart commanding), and brought into Dover.
